MOCA 6 - Michael P. Ammel
This week I choose the artist Michael P. Ammel. He is a native German and lives in Southern France. When creating his digital images his influence comes from his passion of painting, sculpturing and photography. It was very hard to choose what artwork to choose from his portfolio. However, I’ve chosen a piece called “Natural Beauty.” I like the way he blurred the background and focused in on the image in the forefront. I love the color blend that compliments the image.
He enjoys creating all type of images using various technologies and software in creating his digital artwork. A few software application he uses are WACOM tablet, Adobe Photoshop CS2, PaintShop Pro, cinema 4d, Bryce, vue d’ esprit and various fractal generators. He also use the Nikon brand cameras when taking photographs.

JULIETTE GRIBNAU is the artist, she has some serious fractal images in her series on MOCA but I couldnt copy the image so I ahd to do a screen shot and get it that way. I am humbled by her stuff- its complicated and she adds other elements to the fractal art which makes it more interesting and unique....like the sky hereMoca Week 6

I was exploring the fractasl art section in an effort to beeter understand our asigned fractal project and see how other artists freak the fractal game. i found a lot.....including this arist Pam Blackstone. She is a long time fractal artist and this image comes from a series she titled "organica"; the concept being that art imitates nature as in this image called "Inside Out Shell"

it's about friggin time.......

WHOA, how difficult was it for me to finally get this together.... there was no paint bucket which took me hours to figure out that I should use fill under the edit tab, and I went about it doing the background red in a different way, I basically hand painted the red using the brush tool....a little out of the way but the same result...ANYHOO here is my Warhol project, it will also be posted in photothing. ENJOY

I can't reiterate on how impress I am with these artists and their images. This week I chose Gun Legler. I'm impress with her artwork and a her psychological mood swing. Gun Legler was a former psyche treacher in Sweden. She decide to go back to school at the age of 40 and concentrate on digital art. (she had no prior computer knowledge and self thought herself). Much of her work portray a psychological mood swing. she use PintshopPro and Photoshop to create her images.

Ultra Fractal

I realize my pictures look like Jerry's video tutorial as I was having a very hard time with this project. Thanks to Naniki, I was able to download Ultra Fractal 5.03 as I could not find how to download Ultra Fractal 5.01. This became very frustrating to me as I was so excited to get started on this project. The first picture, I chose Distance Estimator under Layer Properties and the second picture I used Orbit Traps. In the coming days, I will be adding new pictures and choosing different images.
MOCA 5

This painting is entitled Venice, created by Peter Mc Lane. I chose this picture because the buildings along the water just reminds me of my hometown, New York City. The artist used digital art for this painting. He discovered the program "painter" and said that his technique "can not be related to another". The artist started with a white screen and used a stylus and wacom tablet to create this painting.
