MOCA Week 3

I absolutely love the colors in this picture by Charles Csuri. La Primavera reminds me of some type of celebration and they all seem to be having a good time. I usually tend to like pictures with darker colors, but the pastels Csuri used in this picture are some of my favorites (rose color mauves, lilacs, and blues with a hint of gold). At 83, Csuri is still recognized as one of the greatest researches, teachers and pioneers of computer art. Considered one of the fathers of programmed and algorithmic art, 3D still art and animation, his work has influenced fields such as flight simulation, gaming design, magnetic resonance imaging and more. His students go on to work for companies such as Pixar, Industrial Light & Magic, and Silicon Graphics. These twelve still images were drawn in whole or in part by software he devised.
