MOCA - Week Five


The image that I found most interesting and different is created by Natali Hromin. She was born in Zagreb, Croatia. She credits her studies in Russian language and comparative literature in helping her to better understand visual art. She quotes that her art “leads to the void that absorbs all thoughts, beliefs or prejudices.”

The piece I choose from her collection is called “Metascape i2.” Her works is described as being mute, intense, mystical, wondrous and forbidding.

She creates her masterpieces by utilizing layers from various sources such as paintings, photographs, gradients and patterns integrated in software. The software that she utilizes is PaintShoPro, Brice, Corel and Photoshop in creating fractals, effects,
