About LoveThis week I chose the artist ALEXANDER, from Russia. I enjoyed his works which are created by manipulating digital photographs . The completed projects are so quirky, dark, surreal, somewhat post-apocalyptic and mysterious. I enjoyed them. It was hard to choose one, so I picked Margo and About Love. I really like how he contorted the ballerina, she's all twisted up about this love thats being presented to her by the jester. And the melting clock to signify that time is "slipping" away from them; this is my interpretation. It's a very unusual picture, and to me the one the looks the least like he used a photograph, it looks more like an illustration,very Dali-esque. He has some really interesting things, check him out.
